Inverkeithing: A Place of Significance to Every MacLean |
|
|
On July 20th, 2001, a memorial was dedicated to those who fell at the Battle of Inverkeithing in 1651. The memorial, beautifully crafted by stonemason John Fraser, takes the form of a simple Scottish cairn and stands by the roadside, opposite Pitreavie Castle, two miles south of Dunfermline. A three-panel storyboard, adjacent to the cairn, tells the story. |
